Description
30X30 Acrylic on canvas:This is the city dock in Emmetsburg Iowa where an entire community learned to swim, fish, and play ice hockey in the winter. Late afternoon of an Indian summer these boys were deep into technical discussion of what would work to catch the big one. As I painted this one, I became that boy in the lower left fishing that same dock in the 1950's.
