Artist's Description
12X9 Acrylic on Canvas: I sold the original of this on water color paper while meanwhile this image had been accepted into the really grand show at The Huntington Art Library. No choice but to revisit this image a little larger and on canvas this time, so the truly particular collectors paying $150.00 per plate can actually think this it’s art, because of course it’s on canvas. I had a horrible time with the smooth lines as this rough canvas kept sliding the brush around where it wasn’t suppose to go. Next time I think I will use linen or straight onto a board. I know the feeling I can't wrestling with canvas of large size. You have done well here. I love the light going through the bridge structure, tonal and texture. I had a hard time trying to finish off with water colors but still failed.
Randy Sprout replied:
Thank you Phong.
